Local Scoreboard from the Memorial Day weekend, the Embry-Riddle women’s golf team finished ninth at the NAIA National Tournament. Individually, Olivia Zamarripa and Emma Marshall both tied for 29th place.
At the NAIA National Track and Field Meet, Embry-Riddle’s Sophia Noriega finished third in the women’s 5,000 meter run and was named an All-American. Mia Kemp placed ninth in the women’s 3,000 meter steeplechase. Chino Valley alum Dillon Eisner placed 12th in the men’s 5,000 meter run.
That closes the book on the 2025-2026 scholastic sports season for our area.
