The City of Prescott Recreation Services Department is alerting residents about upcoming temporary closures at Goldwater Lake as roadway improvement work gets underway.
City officials say Goldwater Lake will be fully closed from June 15th through June 26th to allow crews to repave the park’s entrance and exit roads. The project is aimed at improving access and driving conditions for visitors heading to the lake.
City leaders are asking visitors to plan ahead and seek alternative outdoor recreation sites during the closure periods. Goldwater Lake is a popular spot for fishing, picnicking, kayaking, and hiking, especially during the summer months.
Officials say the improvements are expected to help enhance safety and the overall experience for future visitors.
