The Town of Prescott Valley is bringing back its household hazardous waste program for water utility customers… but only for a limited time.
Residents who have paint, cleaners, pesticides, batteries, or other household hazardous waste can sign up now for a one-time, free pickup right at their home. You must register in advance by June 26th so staff can plan pickup routes.
The collection window runs from July 6th through July 31st… and each customer will be notified of their specific pickup day ahead of time. Town staff say anyone who was on last year’s waiting list will be given priority for this round of pickups.
The program is designed to help residents safely dispose of materials that shouldn’t go into the trash or dumpster… including paint cans, household chemicals, batteries, and pesticides.
