It was a good year for several boys volleyball players, and that got them spots on the KYCA All-Area Team. Prescott won the Black Canyon Region and made it to the Final Four of state thanks in large part to Eli Buettner, Arwinn Heartisan — both of whom were also all-conference selections — Seth Peterson, Trace Thein, Oskar Mizell, and Garrett Tebbetts. Bradshaw Mountain’s top performers were Jason Nguyen, Colin Bowser, and Alan Delgado.
Onto the KYCA All-Area Tennis Team. For Prescott, the key players on the boys side were Seth Walker, Bridger Mangum, and Paxton Brown, while the girls put up a 12-3 record thanks to Juliette Gundermann, Alder Aten, Makenzie Langford, Sophia Viterbo, Mandy Hirasa, and Kloee Aurich. Bradshaw Mountain got great play from Landen Bloom for the boys, and Angelina Hoey and Paige Holliday for the girls.
