Quite a few former athletes had exceptional spring seasons away from the Tri-City area.
Prescott alum Jack Mason, now with the Wagner College track and field team, was named to the All-Northeast Conference First Team. At the recent NCAA East Regional, he was 0.05 meters off from qualifying for the national meet in the long jump. Mason placed 17th in the event at regionals.
Bradshaw Mountain product Jacob Platt was in South Carolina playing for the Erskine College baseball team. He batted .324 for the Flying Fleet with two home runs, 17 RBIs, six doubles, 16 runs scored, and a .521 slugging percentage.
Carson Feddema, who is a product of both Trinity Christian and Yavapai College, was on the roster for Scottsdale College. He made the All-ACCAC Second Team, hitting .359 for the Fighting Artichokes with two homers, 35 RBIs, eight doubles, and 45 runs scored.
