The City of Prescott is inviting residents to help celebrate a series of improvements at Willow Creek Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Thursday morning.
The event takes place at 10 a.m. and will highlight several recent upgrades designed to enhance the park experience for both residents and visitors. Among the improvements are major renovations to the dog park, including new turf, dedicated water stations, and misting systems to help keep pets and their owners comfortable during the warmer months.
The park’s diamond field has also received upgrades, with improvements that allow for more flexible use of the space. Work included leveling the infield and making changes to the dugouts to improve both functionality and safety.
Families will also notice enhancements to the playground area, where updated play structures have been installed to provide a more inviting and enjoyable experience for children.
City officials say the projects reflect Prescott’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high-quality parks and recreational facilities while improving quality of life for the community.
