1964: A trifecta of no-nos. The Dodgers’ Sandy Koufax tossed the third no-hitter of his career in a 3-0 win over Philadelphia. He struck out 12 and walked just one in the game.
1974: One of the most chaotic promotions in MLB history. The Cleveland Indians put on Ten-Cent Beer Night. That resulted in streakers, firecrackers being thrown on the field, and fans storming the field in a full-blown riot.
2016: They won it all. The Yavapai College baseball team downed San Jacinto College 5-2 to win the junior college national championship. It was the Roughriders’ fourth naty.
