Plenty more new players will be on the roster for the Yavapai College women’s basketball team for the 2026-2027 season.
Coming from Las Vegas is Avery Silvas. She is a graduate of Sierra Vista High School and was a three-time all-conference selection and made the All-Las Vegas Second Team. In her four years with the Mountain Lions, she put up 768 points, 491 rebounds, 204 steals, and 73 blocks.
Another newbie to YC is Brooklyn Pimpl. She is also a Nevada native, hailing from Reno where she played for McQueen High School. She is an all-conference selection. In her senior season, Pimpl averaged 6.2 points per game with 71 rebounds, 42 assists, and 32 steals.
Yet another Nevada native joining the Lady Riders is Lorena Eben. She had an accomplished career for Pyramid Lake High School in Nixon, helping them win four state championships, being named the 1A Conference Player of the Year, and reaching the 1,000-point plateau.
