She’s been nominated for a big award. Cara Hamer of the Prescott Police Department has been nominated for Animal Control Officer of the Year. This took place at the annual conference of the Arizona Animal Control Association.
Prescott police officials say Hamer’s expertise and her ability to connect with the community are the two traits that helped get her nominated for this award.
