The Bradshaw Mountain baseball team had a pretty good day at the plate, as they put a dozen runs on the board. Prescott, however, more than doubled that output as they got the deke 28-12 Tuesday night.
Huge night for the Badgers’ Jack Burton as he socked two home runs, drove in six runs, and scored five runs. Colton Champion had a pair of doubles, five RBIs, and three runs scored. Luke Tobin had a three RBI day and crossed the plate four times. Ryan Elliott drove in two runs and scored five runs. Brendan Costes had three RBIs and three runs scored.
Individual stats were not available for Bradshaw Mountain prior to air time. The Bears did score in every inning but the seventh, and cranked out nine hits in the game. The Badgers had 24 hits.
The two sides meet again tomorrow for the rematch at Prescott High School. First pitch is set for 3:45 PM.
