ADOT has more lane restrictions scheduled for next week on I-17. Both the northbound and southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane on various stretches of the interstate between Sunset Point and Table Mesa Road. These restrictions will be in place starting between 6 and 7 p.m. and ending around 6 or 7 a.m. through Saturday.
The restrictions are needed to accommodate earthwork, bridge inspection, and the removal of temporary concrete barriers. Those traveling through the area should be aware of reduced speeds and construction personnel and equipment, and allow for extra time to reach their destination.
The I-17 improvement project should be completed next year.
