Prescott Boys Volleyball Tames Greenway

The Prescott boys volleyball team got off to a strong start in their match at Greenway last night. The Badgers took the first set 25-13, then notched a 25-14 victory in set two. But in set three, the Demons showed they had life and put up a heck of a battle with Prescott, eeking out a 25-23 victory. The Badgers got over that bump in the road and dominated the fourth set, getting the 25-12 win to take the match 3-1. That is Prescott’s tenth win in a row in power point play.

Zane Gaul posted 22 kills for the Badgers. Quentin Bell recorded 34 assists. Noah Hernandez made 19 digs and chipped in eight kills.

The Badgers are now 13-3 in their power point matches and ranked number seven in the 4A Conference. Prescott has just two more matches remaining in the regular season. They host Thunderbird next Tuesday and are at Bradshaw Mountain next Thursday.
