Local scoreboard from yesterday, the Embry-Riddle baseball team got clipped by Arizona Christian 12-11. Roberto Garza-Nunez homered and drove in four runs. The Embry-Riddle softball team swept Arizona Christian 6-1 and 9-5. Leah Salas homered and drove in five runs on the day. The Prescott boys and girls track and field team both finished first at the Bradshaw Mountain Championships. The Bradshaw Mountain boys placed third and the girls were fourth.
The Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit, and Run competition is coming to Prescott Valley. It takes place at the Mountain Valley Park Four-Plex June 1st from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This free event is for kids ages seven to 14, and you can register at pitchhitrun.com.
