The stage is set for the state tournament proper for baseball and softball. It starts tomorrow, with all our local teams on the road. In baseball, number ten Prescott is at number seven Deer Valley. The Badgers are 14-6 overall on the season while the Skyhawks are 15-4 in power point games. The two teams met on March 4th, with Deer Valley getting the 12-7 victory. Number nine Bradshaw Mountain travels to number eight Seton Catholic. The Bears are 14-8 and the Sentinels are 18-8.
The Sweet 16 of the state softball tournament also starts tomorrow. Number 13 Prescott travels to number four Salpointe Catholic. The Lady Badgers are 11-7 in power point games and the Lady Lancers are 16-2. Number nine Bradshaw Mountain is at number eight Flagstaff. The Lady Bears are 12-5 in power point games and the Lady Eagles are 14-4. The two teams split their regular season series.
