The 2023-2024 season was certainly one to celebrate for Prescott High School. The athletic department came out with its accomplishments for the recently completed school year. There were 517 student athletes competing for the Badgers this past season, which comes out to 38 percent of the student population. Forty-one of them were recognized as scholar-athletes for playing at least two sports and earning a 3.8 GPA. Thirty-five athletes competed in three sports, and eleven signed to play at college.
Three teams won region or section championships: boys basketball, boys golf, and boys volleyball. Ten athletes won region player of the year awards. There were also a few individual state champions: Riley Crockett for badminton, Wyatt Rewerts for wrestling, and the girls track and field team’s 4-by-400 relay of Aubrey Kitahata, Wylie Monnett, Kenzie Blanchard, and Violet Williams.
