Many people in the Tri-City area were probably wondering why the sky was so hazy Thursday. According to the National Weather Service, it was not because of a weather event in Arizona.
The haze was created by dust produced by a dust storm that rolled across New Mexico. That dust extended from the Four Corners all the way to southern Arizona.
