Monday’s storms appear to have sparked a small wildfire near Crown King. Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office officials report the blaze broke out roughly nine miles from Crown King. A lightning strike is believed to have caused the fire.
No structures were threatened, and no evacuation orders were issued.
