You will be able to go a little faster on a couple of streets in Prescott. At its meeting Tuesday, the City Council unanimously approved increasing the speed limit for the entire length of Hassayampa Village Lane and for Williamson Valley Road between Standing Rock Drive and the county line.
Transportation Manager Ian Mattingly explains the reasons for the increase:
The speed limit on Hassayampa Village Lane will increase from 25 to 30 miles per hour, while the speed limit on Williamson Valley Road will increase from 35 to 40 miles per hour.
