A trio of golfers from the Embry-Riddle women’s team were recognized for their good grades. Maisy Alsen, Libby Axen, and Kaetlin Halseth were named to the College Sports Communicators All-District Academic Team.
Alsen, who hails from Gilbert, is a mechanical engineering major with a concentration on propulsion. On the green, she was the runner-up in the 2024 Cal Pac Conference Championship Tournament.
Axen, a Tucson native, is a forensic accounting and fraud examination major at Embry-Riddle. She was also named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete and made the All-Cal Pac Academic Team. At the Cal Pac Championship Tournament, she placed fifth.
Halseth, who is from Kingswood, Texas, was also an NAIA Scholar-Athlete and was named to the All-Cal Pac Academic Team. She finished third at the Cal Pac Championship Tournament.
