Fire Danger in Prescott Nat’l Forest High

The fire danger in the Prescott National Forest has decreased, but we’re still not out of the woods yet. Forest service officials report the current fire danger is high. For the past few weeks, the fire danger in the Prescott National Forest has been very high.

Stage One fire restrictions are still in effect. This means campfires, stove fires, and cooking fires are prohibited outside designated areas. No firearms can be used in the national forest, and smoking is not allowed outside vehicles or enclosed buildings.
