It was a wet start to the work week in Yavapai County. According to the county flood control district, Goldwater Lake received just under an inch of rain Monday. White Spar Campground and Outer Loop Road both got 0.94 inches. Lynx Lake and Haisley Homestead both had 0.31 inches. Downtown Prescott received just under a quarter-inch of rain. Pine Ridge Marketplace got 0.20 inches. Thumb Butte and Granite Basin both had 0.16 inches. Prescott Heights received 0.12 inches. Mayer got 0.08 inches, and Williamson Valley and Big Big Mesa both had 0.04 inches of rain.
Look for more rain in the Prescott area today as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 30-percent chance of thunderstorms.
