It was a rainy Sunday in Yavapai County. According to the county flood control district, Big Bug Mesa received 1.18 inches of rain. Outer Loop Road got 0.20 inches. Thumb Butte had 0.16 inches. Downtown Prescott and Kirkland both received 0.08 inches, and Goldwater Lake, Lynx Lake, Prescott Heights, White Spar Campground, Haisley Homestead, and Mingus Mountain all got 0.04 inches of rain.
More rain could fall on the Prescott area today as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 20-percent chance of thunderstorms.
