The Friends of the Verde River are looking to the public to help with their Otter Spotter program. They are asking anyone who recreates along the Verde River to report any otters they see. The group’s goal is to have 50 otter sightings by September, which can help with conservation efforts.
You can sign up for the program at arizonariverotter.fieldscope.org. There you can share the date, time, and location of your otter sighting, along with any photographs.
