A wildfire is burning near Kirkland. The Farm Fire is around 150 acres in size. While it is zero percent contained, a storm that moved through the area Thursday dumped a significant amount of rain on it and helped slow the spread.
Residents along Iron Horse Road had to be evacuated for a short time due to the wildfire. The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
