Prescott Valley Police Department officials report a threat toward the Humboldt Unified School District was generated by a fake social media account. On Thursday, the department was made aware of the threats against Pronghorn Ridge Middle School and Bradshaw Mountain High School. An investigation revealed the threats came from a fake account on several social media sites, as well as online gaming applications.
As a precaution, Prescott Valley Police assigned extra security to both Pronghorn Middle School and Bradshaw Mountain High School.
