Thursday was another day of monsoon storms in Yavapai County. According to the county flood control district, Goldwater Lake received 0.79 inches of rain. Cordes Junction got 0.59 inches. Lynx Lake had 0.55 inches. Big Bug Mesa and Sierra Prieta both received 0.39 inches. Pine Ridge Marketplace and Kirkland both got 0.20 inches. Thumb Butte, Prescott Heights, Outer Loop Road, and Seligman all had 0.16 inches. Downtown Prescott received 0.12 inches. Mayer and Ash Fork both got 0.08 inches, and Prescott Country Club, Yarnell, and Sedona all had 0.04 inches of rain.
Today could be another wet day for the Prescott area as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 60-percent chance of thunderstorms.
