Prescott Valley police have made an arrest in a shooting over the weekend. The incident occurred Saturday night just before 7:30. Officers responded to reports of shots fired at the south end of Mountain Valley Park.
Witnesses stated people in two pickup trucks exchanged fire in the area between the basketball courts and the dog park. The witnesses also reported a red pickup truck fled the scene, and several people ran away before officers arrived.
Through an investigation, everyone involved was identified, with one man taken into custody. No one was injured and the investigation is ongoing.
