The Embry-Riddle volleyball team will be the first local team to play a game that counts. The Lady Eagles open the season Thursday at the Montana Tech tournament versus Montana State-Northern.
Riddle will not be lacking in experience in 2024 as they feature a ton of returning players, including the two-time Cal Pac Setter of the Year, Katie Rolle. An All-American honorable mention last season, Rolle had 1,088 assists. She’ll have plenty of targets to choose from on the attack with senior Dalia Haase – an All-Conference Second Team selection with 343 kills last season; junior Emma Barber – 261 kills in 2023; sophomore Alexsandra Rodriguez – 242 kills in her freshman season; sophomore Hannah Clear, with 198 kills in 2023; and senior Kelly Hansen – 184 kills last year.
The defense also looks solid with senior Lilly Figgins, a 2023 All-Cal Pac Honorable Mention with 451 digs; sophomore Hie Loui with 142 digs last season, and junior Alexis Kreager, who had 182 digs in 2023.
