ERAU Volleyball Gets Top Spot in GSAC Pre-Season Poll

They’re one of the newest teams in the Great Southwest Athletic Conference, and they’re the favorite to win the whole sha-bang. The Embry-Riddle volleyball team took the number one spot in the GSAC pre-season poll.

With 41 points in the poll, the Lady Eagles just beat out Benedictine-Mesa – also a new member of the GSAC – and The Master’s University, both of whom are tied for second with 39 points. Number four in the poll is Life Pacific, with Ottawa University at number five, Hope International at number six, and Arizona Christian and Park University – who like Embry-Riddle and Benedictine-Mesa moved from the Cal Pac Conference to the GSAC – are tied for number seven.

Embry-Riddle begins the 2024 season today at the Montana Tech Tournament. They face Montana State-Northern. Their first GSAC contest is September 13th at Ottawa.
