Last year they were section champions and finished fifth at the state tournament. This year the Prescott boys golf team aims to have even more success. The road to post-season glory begins for the Badgers next Tuesday when they open the season at home versus Bradshaw Mountain and Lee Williams. Next Friday, Prescott takes part in the High School Fall Preview at Grand Canyon University.
Two more road matches follow, August 27th at the Continental Country Club in Flagstaff and September 3rd at Prescott Country Club. Then it’s a home match September 10th versus Coconino and Bradshaw Mountain. After a match at the 500 Golf Club in Glendale September 24th, the Badgers have three straight home matches; October 3rd versus Mountain Ridge, October 8th versus Sandra Day O’Connor, and October 15th versus Flagstaff.
Prescott also hosts the Section VII Championship October 22nd.
