“Celebrating where Arizona began.” That’s the theme of this year’s Chino Valley Territorial Days. It kicks off Friday night with a screening of the movie “An American Tail” at Memory Park on Palomino Road.
Saturday features a number of events including the Lions pancake breakfast starting at 6 a.m., the Territorial Days parade starting at 9:15 a.m., vendors, a carnival, and live music at Memory Park all day, and the FFA corn dinner at Del Rio Elementary School from 3 to 7 p.m.
Sunday’s events take place at the Aquatics Center on North Road One East with a car show and a free swim, followed by a fireworks display at Old Home Manor on Perkinsville Road. Then on Labor Day Monday, there will be another fireworks show at Old Home Manor.
