While some parts of the Tri-City area experienced rain and lightning Wednesday, the bad weather stayed away from Antelope Hills. That meant the Prescott girls golf team was able to get in their dual meet with Mohave.
The meet was about as one-sided as you could get as the Lady Badgers overwhelmed the Lady Thunderbirds 189-283. Freshman Carolyn Westerman was the medalist for the day, shooting a 39. In second place was Karlee Molster with a 47. Another freshman, Madison Osterloh, came in third. Finishing in fourth place was Emmalynn Little with a 53, while Lauren McCormick placed fifth with a 59.
Next up for Prescott, they take a long trip up to Page next Wednesday for a dual meet with the Lady Sand Devils. After that, the Lady Badgers have a long layoff between contests. They will go to the Prescott Country Club September 19th to take on Bradshaw Mountain and Lee Williams.
