Les Moss Steps Down as NAZ Wranglers Head Coach

The Northern Arizona Wranglers will have a new head coach for the 2025 season. Les Moss has stepped down as the bench boss for the IFL team. Moss has led the Wranglers for the past three years and was at the helm when the team won the Indoor Football League National Championship in 2022.

In his three seasons with NAZ, Moss posted a record of 28-19 in the regular season and 4-1 in the postseason.

A press release from the Wranglers stated Moss is seeking other coaching opportunities. Team owner Fred DePalma said, “We want to put a stop to the rumor mill before it begins. There was no falling out, no contract dispute, and no animosity. Les and I are friends, and our friendship will continue.”

DePalma added he has already interviewed ten candidates for the head coach’s job. An official announcement on the new Wranglers coach is expected later this month.
