Prescott Valley Going in Right Direction With Economic Development

Prescott Valley’s vision for economic development is a good one. That’s according to Sandra Watson, the president of the Arizona Commerce Authority. She recently spoke to a gathering of local business and civic leaders, with topics ranging from job creation to economic diversification. Watson said the town has a plan for where it is going and is working together with community members to accomplish that.

Town Manager Gilbert Davidson said, “One of the pillars of our strategic plan is being a prosperous community, and what that translates to is jobs, jobs, jobs. If we want good companies, good businesses, and job creation, we’ve got to have a vibrant economy that is helping to support the residents that live here.”

Prescott Valley recently completed its first economic development strategic plan to help guide the town’s future economic growth.
