There were not many wildfires that threatened lives and property during the summer in Yavapai County, but Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority Chief Scott Freitag says we are not out of the woods yet when it comes to catastrophic fires.
He tells The News:
It is a good idea to clear excess brush and vegetation within a 30-foot radius of your home in order to create defensible space in the event of a wildfire.
