Points were hard to come by in last night’s contest between the Bradshaw Mountain and Tuba City flag football teams, but the Lady Bears had a few more than the Lady Warriors and got the 14-6 win. That’s the first-ever victory for the new Bradshaw Mountain flag football team.
Lucy Nache threw a touchdown pass to Trista Polley. Morgan Gosik also had a touchdown run. Nyomi Astorga and Kylie Harms both had interceptions. Harms also kicked two extra points. Dareyli Castro recorded a sack.
Bradshaw Mountain is now 1-3 on the season. The Lady Bears play again next Tuesday when they host Prescott in the rivalry game. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. Next Thursday, Bradshaw is on the road to face Goldwater.
