Local scoreboard from yesterday, the Mayer volleyball team swept San Pasqual 3-0. The Lady Cats are on a three-match winning streak.
In flag football, Prescott bested Shadow Ridge 20-0. Allana Gilray ran an interception back 90 yards for a score. Mayer fell to Nogales 42-6. Jenisie Robertson had a 61-yard touchdown catch.
The Prescott boys and girls swim teams swept Bradshaw Mountain and Kingman. For the Badgers, Kye Raute won the boys’ 200 free and 500 free, and Nora Gunderson won the girls’ 200 free and 100 back.
The Prescott badminton team got swept by Chaparral 9-0. That’s the Lady Badgers’ first loss of the season.
