The Copper Canyon Fire and Medical Authority is mourning the loss of one of its own. Firefighter Shane Gage passed away on Friday. The exact cause of his death has not been released. Gage, a Prescott Valley resident, started working with Copper Canyon Fire and Medical in 2017. He leaves behind a wife and young daughter.
An honor watch has also been organized in memory of Gage. A GoFundMe page has been created to help Gage’s family.
