Once again, the Prescott football team had to face an undefeated team. This time it was Combs, and it was for their homecoming game no less. Uriah Tenette started the proceedings with a rushing touchdown early in the first quarter. After that, the Badgers continued to pile on the points. The Coyotes did start to come back in the second half, but Prescott held on to the lead and got the win 40-28 Friday.
It was a huge night for Tenette as he had three touchdown passes, two touchdown runs, two interceptions — one of them a 100-yard pick six — and was named the 2024 homecoming king, with softball’s Gracie Pereira the homecoming queen.
Johann Gundermann caught two touchdown passes. Josiah Peoples had a touchdown catch and a sack. Adam Lloyd recorded eight tackles and a sack. Kenny Miller-Terry had an interception.
This puts Prescott’s record at 4-1 on the season.
