A man from Kingman lost his life Tuesday evening after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a full-sized pickup in Prescott.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the fatal injury accident at the intersection of Williamson Valley Road and Granite Oak just before 5:30 p.m. As they arrived on scene, they found off-duty paramedics already rendering aid to the motorcycle rider, who was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
YCSO was later advised that the 48-year-old Kingman man succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
Both vehicles were towed for evidence collection, and deputies will continue their investigation of the collision.
