Funeral services will take place Saturday for Copper Canyon Fire and Medical Authority firefighter Shane Gage. The services begin at 11 a.m. at LifePoint Church at 10100 East Highway 69 in Prescott Valley.
At the request of the Gage family, the memorial service will be open to family, friends, firefighters, the extended fire family, and the public. Services will be followed by a private reception for family and members of Gage’s fire family.
In lieu of flowers, members of the general public are asked to consider donating to the Camp Verde Fire Department Auxiliary, which has established a fund for Gage’s wife Allie and daughter Sophie. Donations can be mailed or made in person at 2700 Godard Road in Cottonwood, 86236, or 26-B Salt Mine Road in Camp Verde, 86322.
The 30-year-old Gage passed away unexpectedly last week. He had worked with the Copper Canyon Fire and Medical Authority since 2017.
