PHS Football Levels Lee Williams

The Prescott football team put on a defensive clinic in the finale of its three-game homestand Friday. The Badgers held Lee Williams scoreless until late in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, Prescott put quite a few points on the board as they got the 28-6 triumph. That was also the Badgers’ first win in Grand Canyon Region play.

Good night for Adam Lloyd on offense as he had two rushing touchdowns. Jacob Chamberlain also ran it in for a score. Uriah Tenette, who received his Arizona Cardinals High School Player of the Week award earlier in the afternoon, threw a touchdown pass to Cooper Kasun. Johann Gundermann was perfect on his extra point attempts. Prescott now sits at 5-1 on the season. They have the bye this week, with their next game on Thursday, October 17, at the NAU Skydome versus Flagstaff.
