It seemed everyone was getting into the act when it came to scoring for the Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team. Four different players found the back of the net in the Lady Eagles 4-1 triumph over The Master’s University last night. Jamie Black struck first with her seventh goal of the year. Aubrie Labno followed that up with a goal off a penalty kick. The second half saw goals by Jamie Brandon and Rae Yoshioka. Jackie Peterson recorded a pair of assists, and Lauren Otto also had a helper. Annabelle Ruckle made eight saves. The win puts riddle’s record at 7-2-2 on the season.
It was a different story in the men’s game as the Eagles fell to The Master’s 3-1. Nitai Bental had the lone goal for Riddle, who are now 3-4-4 on the season.
The Embry-Riddle soccer teams return to action Saturday when they face Hope International. The women begin the proceedings at 5 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
