Rain fell on Yavapai County last night and into this morning. According to the County Flood Control District, Pine Ridge Shopping Center received 0.31 inches of rain. Prescott Country Club got under a quarter-inch of rain. Goldwater Lake, Lynx Lake, Fain Lake, Williamson Valley, Prescott Heights, and Black Canyon City all had 0.16 inches. Prescott Valley, Thumb Butte, and Mingus Mountain each received 0.12 inches. Chino Valley and Haisley Homestead both got 0.08 inches, and downtown Prescott, Willow Lake, and Cottonwood all recorded 0.04 inches of rain.
The Tri-City area could see a lot more rain today as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 60-percent chance of thunderstorms.
