Another Embry-Riddle athlete has picked up a weekly honor from the Great Southwest Athletic Conference. Hannah Clear of the volleyball team was named the GSAC Defensive Player of the Week. In last week’s loss to Life Pacific and win over Hope International, Clear registered nine blocks.
Clear, a sophomore from Fort Worth, Texas, has amassed 53 blocks for the Lady Eagles this season. She has also notched 116 kills. Clear’s award comes a week after her teammate, Dalia Haase, was also named the GSAC Defensive Player of the Week after she garnered 15 blocks in two matches. She was also named the conference Attacker of the Week earlier in the season.
Another Embry-Riddle volleyballer, Katie Rolle, has a pair of Setter of the Week honors in her pocket for the 2024 season.
