Construction of the new fee booth at the City of Prescott’s solid waste facility has been put on hold. City officials say this is due to “unforeseen conditions.” Crews are continuing subgrade preparation throughout the project area.
Motorists traveling through this stretch of Sundog Ranch Road may encounter rough road conditions, reduced speeds, lane restrictions, and flaggers directing traffic. Access to the Peavine Trail and Yavapai Humane Society will be maintained during this project, but the recycling bins at the transfer station are temporarily closed.
Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Thursday. The project should be finished later this year.
