Crews in the Prescott National Forest are about to undertake a major road reconstruction project.
Mingus Mountain Road will be closed next Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will also be complete closures of the road in February and October of next year. This is necessary to address drainage and erosion issues on Mingus Mountain Road by adding new culverts along the roadway.
One-lane access will be available for vehicles when construction is not being performed.
