Sports Extra Nov 4th, 2024; Weekend Scoreboard

Local scoreboard from the weekend, at the state cross-country meet, the Chino Valley girls placed 7th, marking their best finish since 2000. Zoi Nagel came in 25th place. The Chino boys were 22nd, the Prescott girls placed 16th, and the Prescott boys were 17th. Bradshaw Mountain’s Sara Harmon placed 49th in the girls’ race.

In football, the Chino Valley team lost to River Valley 41-8.

In basketball, the Embry-Riddle men’s team lost to Rocky Mountain College 73-59, and to Montana State-Northern 74-67. Demari Hackett posted 14 points and nine rebounds in the Northern game.

In soccer, the Embry-Riddle men’s team was shut out by Hope International 2-0, while the Embry-Riddle women blanked Hope International 2-0. Aubrie Labno had a goal and an assist.

In volleyball, Mayer lost to Joseph City 3-0, in the Central Region Tournament. Embry-Riddle swept Park 3-0. Lily Figgins made 22 digs.
