The Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team won the Great Southwest Athletic Conference championship in their first season in that conference, and these seven players had a lot to do with it. That’s why they were named to the all GSAC team.
They are keeper Annabelle Ruckle, who led the conference with a 0.57 goals-against average; Ellie Neal, who led the Riddle defense; Hannah Draper, who was also a key component of Riddle’s defense; Rae Yoshioka, who had eleven goals and ten assists; Jamie Black, who recorded fourteen goals and six assists; Jamie Brandon, who posted eight goals and three assists; and Aubrie Labno, who garnered four goals and six assists. In addition, Todd Poitras was named the GSAC Coach of the Year.
For the Embry-Riddle men, they had five players on the all GSAC team. Elias Ammon made seventy-two saves; Nitai Bental tallied five goals; Roei Nir posted four goals; Aleksandar Mihajovic registered three goals and five assists; and Francesco Busini led the Riddle defense.
