The Prescott boys’ soccer team had a bunch of shots in the first half and the second half, but none of them went into the goal. Notre Dame Prep also failed to score in regulation, so matters had to be settled in overtime. That’s where Stone Booth finally got Prescott on the board, followed by Casey Devito tacking on an insurance goal late in the second OT. That resulted in a 2-0 win for the Badgers in their season opener Wednesday night.

Cole Schuman had an assist for Prescott. The Badgers are back in action Friday and Saturday at the Benjamin Franklin Early Bird Classic in Mesa. Prescott returns home Monday to face Greenway.
